Sending in the background
The receipt is saved and printed immediately. The sale is sent to EET in the background, so the customer doesn't wait.
SuperKasa can send your sales to EET 2.0, the Czech electronic sales registration. On this page we describe how the POS does it. What exactly you must register, and from when, is for the Financial Administration (Finanční správa), the Czech tax authority, to tell you.
Important: The information on this page is not legal or tax advice. Whether sales registration applies to you, from when and which payments you register – check on eet.gov.cz, on financnisprava.cz or with your tax adviser or accountant.
According to eet.gov.cz (as of 21 October 2026): the EET 2.0 system is ready for businesses from 1 November 2026 and regular sales registration begins on 1 January 2027. You can find the current schedule on eet.gov.cz.
The receipt is saved and printed immediately. The sale is sent to EET in the background, so the customer doesn't wait.
When the connection doesn't work, the POS retries sending by itself at increasing intervals. You can keep selling.
The colour of the POS status bar shows whether everything has been sent, something is waiting or an error has occurred. You won't miss unsent sales.
The POS registers the sale for the whole receipt – paid in cash, by card, by QR payment or a combination. Voids and refunds are registered as negative sales.
The POS accepts a confirmation from EET only with a valid signature of the Financial Administration. Otherwise it sends the sale again.
The POS warns you 3 weeks in advance that your POS certificate is about to expire. It cannot renew it automatically yet – you generate and upload a new certificate by hand.
Steps according to eet.gov.cz – “Jak začít evidovat” (How to start registering). Always follow the Financial Administration's current guide.
SuperKasa has no certification or approval from the Financial Administration – and we do not claim anything of the kind. We have tested sending in the Financial Administration's test environment. The business owner is responsible for meeting the registration obligations; the POS is a tool that helps with this.
Some of the smallest self-employed people (OSVČ) in the flat-rate tax regime can opt out of sales registration in the so-called EET OFF regime. The Financial Administration describes the conditions on eet.gov.cz.
The EET 2.0 rules may change. You will always find current information, dates and answers to frequently asked questions on eet.gov.cz.
Give us a call and we'll show you how SuperKasa works with EET 2.0.
